Home Sweet Home

I spotted this beauty in our yard a few minutes after rolling up the driveway...
surely it's a love note from the Universe,
a good omen or something like that...

We spread out our loot from Homer and said: "We could have gotten one more bucket, no?" Thank goodness Matt shares my love of rocks and is willing to drive long distances while sleep deprived to get them. Our marathon trip was well worth it and we have some great rocks to build my show around this June. I haven't mentioned that yet - we've been collaborating on a way to exhibit my painted stones. Let me tell you - it's some kind of wonderful! If you find yourself in Fairbanks make sure to come out and see us at The Alaska House on opening night June 3rd! It's gonna be off the hook!

  2. Hi Amy,
I just found your blog through your Etsy shop and may I say that your blog is absolutely delightful as are your painted rocks! I love what you said in your profile, "Life thrives with the right balance of creative energy + living like you're on vacation." You are so right and I really needed that reminder today because I was feeling the pressure of an upcoming Art market and thinking of what I LOVE to do more like work than pleasure. So thank you! Can't wait to go through all your posts.
