Patterns

I can’t get enough of this shape. It's sacred geometry and it’s been following me around. You know how I see hearts? Well neck in neck is seeing spirals. I began noticing both, everywhere, in 2006. Mmmm. Same year I leapt into art and a new way of living. Double Mmmm. Do you believe in synchronicity?

Tonight, I read this:
Sacred geometry may be understood as a worldview of pattern recognition, a complex system of religious symbols and structures involving space, time and form. According to this view the basic patterns of existence are perceived as sacred. By connecting with these, a believer contemplates the Great Mysteries, and the Great Design. By studying the nature of these patterns, forms and relationships and their connections, insight may be gained into the mysteries - the laws and lore of the Universe. -EC

I liked the interpretation.

Happy tenth of July you believer in mysteries.

  1. I finally figured out how to leave a comment on YOUR blog; which I look forward to reading every day. Do you know the boys heart-spot, too? We've been snapping shots of melting snow, apple bruises, potatoes and other misc. things in the shape of hearts in your honor...
