Through the window

A memory blew in through the window today and made me think of Italy. For a moment I ached to be there with that hot Tuscan sun beating down and scorpions slipping under olive trees nearby. I wanted badly to admire vibrant stands of sun soaked produce, to take a morning walk under a canopy of trees or sit out in the night air and laugh loud with wine glasses clinking, near and dears all around me. Today I am grateful for  memory and it is enough.

  2. I feel like that sometimes about Italy as well ~ especially in the fall which is when I have mostly lived and traveled there. Mostly memory is enough for now. :)
